Lynn received
her MA degree in Counseling and Rehabilitation from Southern Illinois
University in l974.
Lynn is a Florida State licensed mental health counselor who has maintained
a private practice with a specialty in service to military families
since 1986. Lynn is a founder of Beaches Counseling, Inc and has served
as President and the chief administrator since Beaches Counseling was
incorporated in 1990. Prior to this Lynn was a staff member of a national
social service organization providing staff training and local agency
development consultation in a twelve state area. She served as a representative
to the Council on Accreditation and evaluated local agency compliance
with national Standards, through out the United States.
Currently Lynn oversees the development of new business opportunities
and the implementation of service contracts.

Clarence
received his MS degree in Counseling and Education from Eastern Illinois
University in 1978.
Clarence (C.C.) is a Florida State Licensed Mental health Counselor
and currently serves as contract manager and chief counselor for one
of BCI's military service contracts. C.C. is a founding member of Beaches
Counseling Inc. and has served as Vice-President of the corporation
since 1990. He has developed a clinical specialty in serving children
and adolescents with particular focus on adjustment to military lifestyle.
Before coming to Beaches Counseling C.C. served as the small business
development advisor for a community college and was a guidance counselor
in an elementary school.

Gerry received
his commission from Stanford University ROTC in 1954. He began his career
in the Air Force as a fighter pilot flying the first operational airplane
to break the sound barrier. He flew with the 311th Fighter Squadron
in Korea and later with the Nationalist Chinese Air Force as a jet age
Flying Tiger. After leaving active duty in 1958 Gerry joined the Air
Force reserve where he flew as a weekend warrior. As a member of the
Air Force Reserve rifle team he won four (4) Air force marksman championships,
three (3) national championships and placed second in world competition.
In 1970 he returned to Boston and joined the USAF Academy admissions
group. He became Commander in 1975. As Admissions Director for Massachusetts
he counseled hundreds of young men, women and their families about military
academia and lifestyle demands of a military career.
In 1986 Gerry retired from the Air Force Reserve as a full Colonel.
He was shortly thereafter recruited by the Massachusetts State Guard.
He assumed command of the Massachusetts Guard and was promoted to Major
General in 1991.
In civilian life Gerry was President of U.S. Coating Collaborative,
a firm that specialized in the abatement of asbestos receiving the Governor's
Award for excellence in the field. Gerry was also President and General
Contractor for G.S. Maloney Co. specializing in the preservation of
landmark historical buildings, including the John F. Kennedy Birthplace
House.
Presently,
Gerry continues his counseling of military families and USCG Academy
applicants. He also is a volunteer instructor with the USCG Auxiliary
teaching boating safety and operations.

Alice received
her MSW degree from the University of Michigan in 1957 and a MA degree
in Family Studies from University of Maryland in 1982. Alice is a Board
Certified Diplomat in Clinical Social Work and maintains a license as
a clinical social worker from the states of Florida, California and
Rhode Island. Alice has many years experience in the field of social
work as college level instructor, clinical supervisor, clinic director
and private clinician. She is the spouse of retired Naval Captain, Richard
Stratton providing her with years of first hand knowledge of military
lifestyle.
During her career Alice served as the first Deputy Assistant Secretary
of the Navy for Force Support and Families and received the Navy distinguished
Public Service Medal. Alice directed efforts to develop and implement
the concept of the Family Service Center system still in place today.
The Family Service Center at Naval Station Annapolis is named Stratton
Hall in honor of her and her husband's commitment to improving the quality
of life for military families.
Today, Alice counsels military families, is a member of the Board of
Directors of the Children's Crisis Center and the DAR. In March of 2001
Alice was appointed by the Secretary of Defense to a three year term
as a member of the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Service
[DACOWITS]. She is an active community volunteer in the greater Jacksonville,
Florida region.

Richard
received his Masters Degree in international relations from Stanford
University in 1964 and his MSW from Rhode Island School of Social Work
in 1988. Richard began his military career as a private in the Massachusetts
National Guard. During his career he received the Silver Star; Legion
of Merit (V); Bronze Star (V); Purple Heart; Air Medal; Navy Commendation
Medal (V); and Combat Action Ribbon. During his tour of duty in Vietnam
he was captured south of Hanoi and held as Prisoner of War for six (6)

Richard retired from the Navy in 1985 and began a second career in social
service. Combining his knowledge of the human service field and his
first hand experience with military lifestyle including the most extreme
hardships imposed by military service, Richard has unique expertise
to share. He has authored many articles and served as guest lecturer
on numerous occasions. His career as a military officer has enhanced
his innate organizational abilities. He has a keen eye for detail and
does an excellent job overseeing quality control for BCI. He remains
active in veterans affairs and also counsels military personnel and
their families.
